JASON HOPE DONATES FUNDS FOR TORNADO RECOVERY

Donation Made to the American Red Cross to Support Efforts in Joplin, Missouri

Scottsdale, Ariz. – June 16, 2011 – Jason Hope, local Scottsdale, Arizona entrepreneur, donated funds today to the Grand Canyon Chapter of the American Red Cross to aid in rescue and recovery efforts following last months tragic tornado in Joplin, Missouri.

The magnitude of the damage is immense according to workers on site and to numerous media reports from the stricken area. The Red Cross has assisted those impacted since the tornado with shelter and supplies and is also providing comfort kits with daily essentials. In addition to providing for these most basic needs, they offer much needed emotional assistance as well.

“Life in Joplin will never be the same,” said Jason Hope. “But many residents will be helped by the important work the Red Cross is doing. My thoughts are with those who lost loved ones as well as with those who are trying to get their lives back on track following this tragedy.”
